USASA, Rocky Mountain Series, Boardercross at Copper

14th Jan 12

Stoked - 1st Race of the season GOLD, USASA BX Race at Copper.

Riding a new board today as the one I have been training on had its core ripped out yesterday and I found myself riding with only one foot connected to board!!

Had to drive 3 hours last night to score a new board for today - so it was a completely different feel to work with - all good. I race on Kessler, but didn't have my sponsors stickers on the new board so I'm holding my Lib Tech Freestyle board.

Great day weather wise, but the course is pretty tricky - not good when they are using air rescue choppers. Best wishes for a speedy recovery - to all those who have injuries.

Better get a good nights sleep tonight!
