Starting to get sorted for the up and coming Northern Hemisphere season.
A big thanks to Quiksilver for providing me with this awesome new GNU Billy Goat, also after my last crash some sick replacement Hubble lens - best peripheral vision!!
Enjoying the NZ Summer prior to packup.
I unfortunately ended my season with a crash - nothing too serious, missing skin and a few bruises but it knocked me out of the NZ National event. I was pretty disappointed with myself.
However, my USA Coach Jon Casson put it in perspective for me - remember he said - "Your career isn't defined by one event". It's a big picture thing. Alex Pullin and Seth Wescott have all had bad events.
So I'm getting organised and keen to hit the race courses in the USA/Canada and hopefully Europe. Watch this space!!
