Nor Am Season 2014 Finished Today

23rd Mar 2014

Wow, the USA/Canadian Nor Am season has finished for me today. 5th place. I have had an awesome season, going to new places, meeting lots of great people and competing against some terrific riders which has been great experience for me, lots of learning skills and techniques. Big thanks to Team Utah  Coaches Jon, Graham and Cody.

My season tally has been 4 top 10's plus 4 top 5's which includes my first Nor Am podium 3rd.  Plus at present on the Nor Am Cup standings I'm in 9th place.  I won't be able to compete in the last two Nor Am's (Canadian Nationals) as I'll be in Italy at the Junior Worlds. So all and all - pretty happy.

With regards the Junior Worlds - as I'm the only SBX racer for NZ - I'm bunking in with the USA team  as we get there later than the NZ Freestylers (we will miss out on opening ceremony etc but hey it's going to be an awesome experience regardless). I hope the translator on the iPhone can keep up!! ha. all good.  Leave SLC on 27th March back on the 5th and then home to NZ.

See you again sometime Mt Hood.

I really love the vast open spaces of the USA and Canada.
